Crouch Environmental Services, Inc. (CESI) is a professional consulting and public involvement firm. CESI is woman-owned and registered with the State of Texas as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and the City of Houston as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). CESI provides expert environmental services to Federal agencies, State agencies, local municipalities, and private enterprises. The company's specialties include preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliant documents, performing endangered species surveys, performing Phase I environmental site assessments, preparing storm water pollution prevention plans, and providing wetland delineation, permitting, design, and construction services.
CESI employs experienced staff. CESI employs a trained professional staff of scientists and biologists experienced in wetland delineations, Section 404 permitting, threatened and endangered species surveys, and evaluating potential project effects. Many of our staff have achieved post-graduate degrees and have received NEPA and transportation continuing education and training. Our staff benefits from many years of experience in a wide variety of projects.

CESI is an award winning firm. CESI has been featured in television documentaries, newspapers, landscape journals, Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine, and Southern Living. Recent awards include:

·         2004 – Two Council on Environmental Quality Spirit Awards for wetland projects.

·         2004 - Telly Award, Government Affairs category, for the production of "Clear Creek Project Update", a film created as a public involvement tool for the Clear Creek Flood Damage Reduction Project.

·         1998 - American Society of Landscape Architects Award of Excellence for the design and construction management of the Baytown Nature Center in Baytown, Texas.

CESI has successfully completed hundreds of projects since its founding in 1994,
including:

·         Preparing Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), Environmental Assessments (EA), and Categorical Exclusions (CE) for a wide variety of projects, such as highways, pipelines, petrochemical facilities, and port facilities.

·         Performing wetland delineations and obtaining wetland permits for a diverse group of clients and projects.

·         Designing and constructing a wide range of wetland mitigation projects, including marshes, prairies, and riparian forests.

·         Conducting endangered species surveys in a wide variety of habitats, for an array of flora and fauna.

·         Organizing and holding public meetings and hearings.
